***Alert II – Aircraft Emergency***
Chief 820 (Erie International Airport Fire Department) notified Erie County Dispatch of an Alert II – Aircraft Emergency at Erie International. Chief 820 reported an incoming aircraft with 30+ souls on board, with an engine failure.
West Lake (all equipment), Lake Shore (Engine, Ambulance), West Ridge (Engine), Millcreek 929 (920, 922), MPS (Ambulance, Supervisor), Emergycare (Ambulance), West County Paramedics (Ambulance) and Erie Airport Police were all dispatched on the alarm to assist Erie Airport Fire Department.
Engine 482, Engine 483 arrived and staged on the ramp to the runway, while ARFF 823 and ARFF 824 were positioned on the runway.
All other agencies staged at pre-designated areas around the airport property.
The aircraft made a safe landing with no injuries. Chief 820 cleared all units.
