I remember one night back in the 70s Dennis Bullock and myself were working at Erie Ambulance and got a MVA at 6th and Monica. (Someone hit the tree). We needed the Hurst Tool so I called for the Lake as they were so much closer than the City coming from South Central. Took a lot of crap for calling the Lake into the city but I guess you got to do what you got to do. Lake was there in minute's (Chief Richard Schau in charge!)

Do you have pictures of the old engines that were there?

It’s wasn’t Johnny and Roy, it was Darryl and Denny!

Would love to have that Jeep now.

I was there early on,I left my day job to fight this stubborn fire.

I got there a little later in the fight of this really stubborn fire in the old Crystal Room. You can see where old Truck 2 s Telesquirt master stream got put to good use. WestLake had the bulky rubberized turnout gear at that time

I ran the bucket of the snorkel, Pat came on an Engine in the afternoon. Dan O and Gil Keinath also on snorkel.
