***Structure Fire*** At approximately 11:55 this afternoon, West Lake (All Equipment), West Ridge Fire Department (Engine and Ladder), Lake Shore Fire Department (Ladder), Kearsarge Fire Department (Rescue), Kuhl Hose Fire Department (RIT), Millcreek Township 929, MPS and MPD were dispatched for a structure fire in the 3300 block of West 12th Street.
Chief 460 arrived on location and reported a working fire in division 2.
Engine 482 responded and laid 700’ of 5” supply line, and hooked into Engine 474 as they arrived.
Crews from Engine 482 and Engine 474 handled fire suppression. Ladder 489 and Tower 479 assisted with laddering the building and overhaul.
Rescue 444 assisted with suppression. Engine 683 was assigned RIT.
The crews were met with heavy fire on the second floor, and fire was brought under control in under an hour.
Chief 481 had command.
